First of all, I didn't receive any benefit from this shop. This is absolutely the best auto repair shop in Houston, and perhaps even in the entire US! After a costly experience at a branded dealer's service center, I became very cautious about where to take my car for repairs. Today, I drove for almost an hour, even took a wrong turn, and finally arrived at this highly-rated repair shop. It was a wise decision! I was greeted by a strapping Texan named Anthony, who patiently listened to my broken English as I described the issues with my car. I opted for a comprehensive inspection of my vehicle, which took about an hour and a half. They check it really carefully! In the end, the owner named Brian even test drove my car personally to ensure it was problem-free. They are genuinely nice people, vastly different from the poor experiences I've had with service advisors at some branded dealer service centers. This shop doesn’t push unnecessary services; they simply aim to maintain cars well for their customers. The charges were very fair, reasonable, and transparent. After the inspection, they provided a detailed 15-page report. Anthony and the owner took the time to thoroughly explain the findings and alleviated any concerns I had—my car had no issues (they had every opportunity to claim otherwise and suggest additional services, but they didn’t). Additionally, the shop is immaculately clean! The waiting area offers great coffee and various snacks, including a children’s play area. The restroom even stocks feminine and baby products. Their humane care truly shows they put their hearts into running this repair shop! I am thrilled that Houston has such honest repair shops and businessmen. I will definitely establish a long-term relationship with them and recommend them to my friends.

Joshua - Since your dad already left a review, I will just attach our response to his review on yours. Cristo - Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, however I am not seeing where your son was taken advantage of. Your son came in and was told before we looked at the car that there was a diagnostics process that we will need to perform. He was informed of that dollar amount and agreed for us to proceed. He even signed an authorization form giving his approval. Once the diagnostics was complete. He was then given an estimate for an OEM provided window motor. The price that he was given was MSRP plus labor to install and state tax. He then stepped away from the counter to call you, and when he returned, he said we are good to proceed. Then you called our manager hours later and said that you told your son not to do any repairs before he came up here, just check prices. Started making accusations how we took advantage of your kid. Then you started talking about a house band part and how much it costs. You were informed that we use only Original Equipment Manufacture parts and not house brand parts from auto part retail stores due to their unreliability. You were also informed about our 3 year 36,000 miles nationwide warranty as well. A very professional detailed explanation was given to you. You were even given the part number that was installed and told that you can verify the MSRP price online if you like. Nothing dishonest, nothing sneaky about this as you stated on the phone. I am not sure why your son did the opposite of what you told him from the very beginning, but he did.

Perfect experience from beginning to end. They were in constant communication with me and verified the issue before doing an expensive repair for nothing. They also offered me the absolute best price for what I was having done, which was replacing my timing system. Will be using for future repairs and maintenance.

Honest folks! They could have charged me and said I did have a problem with the struts and shimmying but they found nothing! Best practices auto shop!

Let me start off by saying I purchased this vehicle from Carvana, it's a 2011 Corvette Grand sport with 28,000 original miles, and within the first week I had noticed a slight vibration in the body, so I started reading Corvette forms, and one of the issues with the C6 Corvette is harmonic balance wobble , so I inspected and noticed it did have a wobble. The warranty that came with the car is through SilverRock and they sent me to one of their preferred shops ( My transmission and Auto Care Experts ) Katy Texas, I explained to the manager my concerns, let's fast forward 5 days later and this gentleman was trying to tell me that my torque converter and the torque tube needed to be replaced on my vehicle, mind you I had zero transmission issues and he explained nothing was wrong with the harmonic balance although you could see the wobble and serpentine belts were starting to fray, he also told me he put a claim in to SilverRock and was waiting for a claim adjuster to come inspect the vehicle. Several days later I call the warranty company to see when the claim agent was going to view my vehicle, the warranty company had not received any such claim nor sent out a claim adjuster , so I called the manager and asked him why he lied and couldn't be straight up front with me , he told me he needed more time to troubleshoot and diagnose the vehicle, I explained there were no transmission issues, my concern was the harmonic balance, after that conversation I went through that company and location reviews and found for the past 11 months there were no good review, all reviews were one star stating that they were ripped off and or scammed by this manager. The work that was performed to their vehicles was not done correctly or professionally and they would not warranty their work, along with being lied to and finding other so-called issues with the vehicle to rack up the bill. I took it upon my self to pick up the vehicle from this establishment and look elsewhere for a second opinion, I no longer trusted this manager nor the company. I called SilverRock and asked to send me a list of all their preferred shops in my area, ( Honest 1 Auto Care ) came up with phenomenal reviews, so I called and spoke with a gentleman named Anthony which is the manager, he was very knowledgeable and I told him about my previous experiences, he assured me that they play no games and are honest and professional. I took the vehicle up there met this gentleman and took a tour of the shop, it was extremely clean and organized. Mr Anthony took my vehicle and kept me updated each and every day with the progress of my car from what was found when diagnosing and troubleshooting to when the parts were supposed to arrive, to when the parts did arrive. The parts arrived on a Tuesday afternoon, and he said they were going to start working on it immediately, my vehicle was done the following afternoon. The amount of work it takes just to access and replace the harmonic balance is crazy, I have researched and watched numerous videos on YouTube, the vehicle has to be placed on a lift, wheels and tires removed, the whole steering rack and pinion has to be removed, and so much more plus once everything's back together you still have to do a wheel alignment. I would just like to say I would definitely 100% send friends and family to this establishment, and a special thanks to Mr Anthony for being professional and knowledgeable. This day in age it's hard to find a truly honest automobile repair facility, I will definitely be a repeat customer with all my vehicles.

We had my husband Mercedes Benz truck fixed and they did a wonderful job and the customer service was amazing.

I had no idea that my tires had picked up nails and a piece of wire on the freeway until I turned in for an unplanned routine servicing of my Crosstour. The staff at Honest-1 brought that to my attention, made certain that the air pressure in my tires was corrected, advising me of the situation and recommended that I change all four tires. That may have possibly save me from a serious blow out, a possible accident and possibly saving my life! Thanks guys!
